Which would you like first, the good news or the bad news?
Trick question. There is no good news. Ever.
Yes, it’s true President Obama did come out in support of prison reform this week – saying that we need to minimize, or eliminate altogether, minimum sentences for non-violent drug crimes.
And, yes, he also commuted the federal prison sentences of 46 non-violent drug offenders.
Okay, that ain’t nothing, but isn’t it really just more applying a Band-Aid to a bullet wound bullshit?
How about taking a stand against classifying taking medicine as a crime Mr. President?
You used to be a pothead sir, so how about it? Huh? Come on, you know you want to…
Okay, we know the Feds are useless but we can always rely on the government in Colorado to do the right thing, right?
The state board of health voted six to two this week against adding Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to the list of ailments that are eligible to be treated by medical marijuana.
That’s right, if you wear the uniform of your country and get PTSD, you still can’t medicinal weed in Colorado. Colorado of all places, I mean, really?
Colorado’s chief medical officer and a panel of physicians recommended marijuana for PTSD, and the public consistently vote for it, yet the politicians say no?
Screw those guys.
Yeah, like I said – no good news.
